Politi-King…..2008 Elections!

Hello, hello out there. It’s been a while and today’s hot topic is politics and the right to vote for the best presidential candidate, not just a candidate but the person to fill the presidential seat of the Unites States of America.

I want to discuss the man, the first elected, therefore the King or maybe “America’s New King”, Black President, my man, a once close acquaintance, Barack Obama.

Born August 4th, 1961 in Honolulu to a Kenyan father and an American mother, lived in three continents and graduated from Columbia & Harvard Universities, 5th Black Senator in American political history, currently the only Black Senator of the house, husband to a strong, leading lawyer and father of two daughters.

The country is in a state of desperate need for change and I believe that opportunities come at the right time for a reason. This is the time for change and change is right in front of us. Don’t choose Obama, because he is Black, don’t choose Obama, because he different, choose Obama, because he works hard to define the true needs of Americans and puts forth the actions of change. The wheels are turning in America and the path is widening and not all Americans are walking to the same drum, but it is important to remember one thing, we all are here at this time in history and we know where the country was and is and we are the ones who can inspire and make the decision for CHANGE.

I rest completely confident in Barack Obama’s camp and their ability to clean up the state of American politics. Last night he received the public support of Ted Kennedy, some may say that’s all publicity, others have now decided to change their vote. America it is time to use your gut and go with the best candidate for you and your family and your unborn family. We need a person who is committed to the country and the best person will take us from this huge whole of anguish, strengthen our foreign appeal and relations, and make sure the quality of American life is improved.

Do your research, read up on the history, check your beliefs and opinions and make the decision of your life, because as it stands Americans and the pursuit of our happiness and long life isn’t somehow promised these days with all the war, no health-care, cop on cop violence, high unemployment, and poor job markets, oh did i forget unaffordable rent and taxes, with all the added stresses how secure is the American dream?

I want change for a better America and that change is Barack Obama!

Barack Hussein Obama is nothing like the revolutionary Dr. Martin Luther King. It seems that most people using King’s name for political advantage are not truly representing his actual views. I believe, if King were alive today, he would be appalled by the direction of the Democratic party and the black community, in general. King worked so hard to unite Americans of different races. His successors of the “Civil Rights” movement are working at dividing Americans and unravelling much of the work he accomplished. It’s very sad.
