Definitely do not sleep on Paul Pierce.
The Boston Celtics can all bow and give Pierce a full figured THANK YOU” for last night’s amazing defensive performance against whom we all know is the best offensive player in the league. Kobe did his best to keep the action and energy on him, hoping to free up Gasol, but thanks to the smarts of Doc and his Celtics, they recognized the pattern and shut them down.
A twenty+ point deficit for half of a ball game, to turn it around to a single digit lead by the 4th quarter. How inspirational was the Celtic performance in the fourth quarter?
I don’t know about you, but that is just incredible and down right…determination. But let’s not get to hero themed, Pierce had a few teammates step up to the plate and take a big bite of the competition last night. Ray Allen needless to say was more clutch than Garnett in this very clutch game 4 of the finals.
