He will take them to the mountain top
I try to ask myself how is it that someone can be so sure of their skill and execute at the most important moments?
Last night, I had the privilege of sitting on my couch and watching a man make history with his hands and mind. Paul Pierce is not just an athlete he is a role model, a definite leader in the NBA and for many men at large. Based on his statistics alone: 20 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 3.6 APG and continues to deliver everytime he is on the court. Yes, we all have our mishaps, where in Game 4, he missed a shot that was supposed to go in. I can look past that and rest assured that he will take the Celtics yet again to the Finals.
To be 100% honest with my readers, I can’t stand Boston, MA for many different reasons. There is not much about the actual city that excites me or that infuses nice warm memories. In fact, I doubt I would ever live there and if had to I could probably only survive in Cambridge and attend Harvard University.
Besides the long list of negatives….the Celtics starting team of the past few years (Kevin G., Ray A., Paul P., Rajon R., and Derrick R. ) have been an amazing symbol of faith and teamwork.
CamilleCares believes that through hard work, strong leadership, sacrifices and dedication all things are possible and I think coach Doc Rivers also sets some, if not all of these pillars as the team’s credo and mission.
See you at Game 6 where they take this to the next level and if there is to be a Game 7, you better betcha ya last dollar that it is going to be one of the best basketball games you have ever seen in your life.
